Hello fellow basketball fanatic! My name is Nick Walsh and welcome to The People’s Basketball Analysis.
Besides owning four dogs, writing for my school’s newspaper, and struggling to wake up before 11 AM, I am also a HUGE fan of the best sport in the world: basketball. My two favorite teams are the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks and my favorite player is Jayson Tatum.
When in search of basketball commentary, I often turn to popular TV shows such as First Take, Undisputed, etc. But, as entertaining as they are, I have grown somewhat tired of the outlandish comments from the personalities who dominate these shows. The Skip Baylesses, Stephen A. Smiths, and Chris Broussards of the world. After all, their main agendas are to spit out whatever controversial statement will make the most headlines and money.
As a solution, I created the blog to express my own humble opinions on this great sport. Here, you will find unbiased analyses on the draft, free agency, the season, and much more. No, I’m not some famous TV personality or writer, I’m just an extremely passionate fan expressing my thoughts to everyday people. But despite my lack of official credentials, I believe my years of basketball fandom have given me knowledge and insight that I am excited to share.
